Best corrosion protection of steel

Corrosion Resistant Coatings Corrosion resistant coatings protect metal components against degradation due to oxidation, salt spray, moisture or exposure to various industrial or environmental chemicals. Anti-corrosion coating allows for extra protection of metal surfaces and become a barrier to inhibit the contact between chemical compounds or corrosive materials. Most of the coatings listed below also give a stimulus of abrasion resistance, nonstick chemical and performance protection. Metal Coatings supplies both corrosion resistant bolt coating services and corrosion protection fastener coating services.
Advantages of Corrosion Resistant Coatings Coatings with anti-corrosive properties ensure metal parts have the longest possible lifespan. Because metal parts run in severe applications, Metal Coatings supplies the most favored corrosion protection coatings in the market, including our one of a kind Fluorokote#1®, a unique fluoropolymer coating with resistance to extreme chemical uses for maximum run life.
Metal Coatings Corp. brings three decades of expertise to the application of corrosion resistant coaters, along with the advantage of an 80,000 square foot facility staffed around the clock with coating industry professionals prepared to handle rush jobs.
A wide selection of anti-corrosion coatings are available, including corrosion resistant steel coatings, to fit the functionality requirements of a particular use.

Phenolic Coatings

Coatings that are phenolic offer consistent high quality protection for a wide array of uses including immersion service for most acids, solvents, and salts. This epoxy phenolic coating is normally used where higher temperatures and low pH environments are factors. These phenolic coaters have excellent resistance to 92% - 98% sulfuric acid at temperatures up to 120°F. Phenolic coatings may also be resistant to anhydrous chlorobenzene, phenol, hydrochloric acid, carbon tetrachloride, and a number of other substances. Phenolic coatings are also know to be excellent for fasteners. MetCoat provides many different pre-coated fasteners, take a look at our complete line of pre-coated fasteners.

Polyurethane Coatings for Metal Surfaces

A thin film is provided by polyurethane coating on metal, high polish finish with exceptional weathering performance features. This coating, usually called poly coating, can be used in nearly all industrial marketplaces to give a smooth durable finish which has outstanding resistance. Polyurethanes are usually used to topcoat high build epoxy and inorganic zinc.
Metal Coatings provides polyurethane coating services throughout the USA. We also provide southern states including Texas, Alabama, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Mississippi with expedited delivery. Our corrosion resistant polyurethane coatings for urethane and metal coatings for fasteners and other metal products are also readily available for emergency delivery. Ceramic Epoxy Coating

Ceramic Epoxy coating is an original abrasion resistant coating that protects by ceramic particles that are binding to a resin system, thus creating an encapsulating shell that is ceramic. Each ceramic particle is resin coated and becomes closely packed in the cured film.
Metal Coatings Corp. specializes in epoxy coating, specifically ceramic epoxy coating. Contact us now to learn more!

PPS Coating

PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) / Ryton® is a resin bonded coating with excellent chemical resistance. This coating is almost unaffected by any solvent to 400®F. PPS may be used as a stand alone material for excellent corrosion and chemical resistance or as a primer for a top coat. PPS also has excellent abrasion and wear resistance. This coating is used commonly in the chemical processing industry.

Kynar PVDF Coating

PVDF coating (polyvinylidene fluoride) or Kynar® coating is a pure thermoplastic fluoropolymer that's non-reactive and possesses multiple coating gains. Kynar coating is a chemical resistant, thick film barrier coating mainly used on chemical processing equipment due to it's low weight and low thermal conductivity. This coating is unaffected by most chemicals and solvents, and contains excellent wear and abrasion resistance. PVDF coatings are specially resistant to acids, solvents and heat, and has low density compared to similar fluoropolymers. Kynar PVDF coatings for steel as well as other metals even have a high dielectric strength, excellent resistance to weathering elements in harsh surroundings. Along with the capacity to self extinguish, little smoke is generated by PVDF coating substance in the event of a fire.

Halar® ECTFE Coatings

Halar® ECTFE coating is a melt-processable fluoropolymer having a 1:1 alternating copolymer construction of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene. As part of the fluoropolymer family, Halar® Coatings or ECTFE Coatings have a unique mix of properties including excellent chemical resistance, good electrical properties, a comprehensive-use temperature range, exceptional abrasion resistance, and excellent impact strength. Also, PVDF (also called Kynar) is part of the fluoropolymer family offering similar properties to ECTFE.
Halar® / ECTFE Coatings resist a wide variety of organic solvents and corrosive substances , including strong acids, chlorine, and aqueous caustics making them ideal for vessels and process equipment for many industries including the petrochemical sector.
